Manager Commercial Analytics

  • VOQUEZNA® (vonoprazan) tablets, approved for the treatment of heartburn associated with Non-Erosive GERD, as well as the healing and maintenance of healing of Erosive GERD

  • VOQUEZNA® TRIPLE PAK® (vonoprazan tablets, amoxicillin capsules, clarithromycin tablets) and VOQUEZNA® DUAL PAK® (vonoprazan tablets, amoxicillin capsules), approved for the treatment of H. pylori infection in adults

The Manager, Advanced Commercial Analytics, will be responsible for the hands-on development, implementation, and operationalization of advanced analytics solutions supporting HCP engagement, omnichannel strategy, digital marketing, and DTC initiatives. This role focuses on execution, delivering high-quality predictive analytics, predictive analytics supporting Next Best Action (NBA) solutions, journey analytics, optimization modeling, and insights using the existing enterprise data environment.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in applied analytics and machine learning and excels in developing and deploying models that drive measurable business impact.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Advanced Analytics Implementation

  • Build and deploy predictive models, propensity models, segmentation, behavioral scoring, and machine learning solutions to support commercial strategy.
  • Develop HCP and consumer journey analytics to quantify behavior across personal and non-personal promotion, digital marketing, DTC media, and field engagement.
  • Identify meaningful behavioral patterns, triggers, and engagement pathways to support brand and omnichannel strategies.

Next Best Action (NBA) Development & Deployment

  • Develop, operationalize, and refine NBA algorithms, rules-based systems, propensity scores, and engagement triggers.
  • Integrate NBA recommendations into CRM systems (e.g., Veeva CRM) and digital execution platforms.
  • Conduct ongoing measurement, performance monitoring, and tuning of NBA models to improve accuracy and impact.

Marketing Mix Analytics (MMA) & Optimization Execution

  • Support the development and execution of marketing mix analytics (MMA) to quantify channel effectiveness and promotion ROI.
  • Build and operationalize optimization workflows that recommend optimal channel mix, spend levels, and engagement strategies.
  • Develop scenario and simulation tools to support annual planning, omnichannel planning, and tactical decision-making.

Data Environment Utilization

  • Leverage the existing enterprise data engineering and cloud ecosystem (Snowflake, AWS Redshift) to access, transform, and operationalize analytical datasets.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to refine datasets, improve data quality, and enhance analytical feature stores.
  • Ensure all analytics workflows are efficient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.

Visualization, Reporting & Insight Delivery

  • Build dashboards and visual analytics using Power BI to communicate key insights and performance metrics.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for Marketing, Sales, Digital, and Commercial Insights teams.
  • Support the implementation of measurement frameworks and automate reporting workflows where appropriate.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work directly with brand team, digital team, field team, and commercial insights to translate analytics into execution-ready strategies.
  • Participate in omnichannel testing and measurement initiatives, supporting the validation of new tactics and channels.
  • Ensure analytics solutions align with brand objectives, customer needs, and cross-functional priorities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial analytics, advanced analytics, omnichannel analytics, or digital marketing analytics in pharma/biotech or healthcare.
  • Strong hands-on analytics skills with experience implementing advanced analytical models, segmentation, scoring, and journey analytics.
  • Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience using and interpreting pharmaceutical datasets including IQVIA, Symphony, claims, CRM data, and digital marketing datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate analytical outputs into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across Marketing, Digital, Insights, Sales, and IT.

Annual Base Salary: $130,000-160,000
